Novatek and five other companies join Russian Gas Society

MOSCOW. April 19 (Interfax) - Novatek and five other companies have become members of the Russian Gas Society Union of Oil and Gas Industry Organizations, the organization said in a statement.

The purpose of Novatek's membership is "to participate in the Union's activities aimed at developing the oil and gas industry," the statement said.

In addition, Turkey's Vital Chemistry Group Kimya Limited Company joined the Russian Gas Society to "expand interaction with industry enterprises that are members of the Union, and to receive information, methodological and other assistance for the implementation of project activities in Russia."

Gazprom LNG Technologies LLC joined the RGS for active particpation in the discussion, development and adoption of legislative and other regulatory legal acts that promote the technical and economic progress of the Russian gas industry.

In addition, Oman's Muslimat Projects LLC joined for "mutually beneficial cooperation in the oil and gas industry."

TESTSERVICE LLC joined the society to "develop the professional qualifications of the organization's employees and increase competitiveness."

India's Infra Del Projects Rus LLC (a subsidiary of Infra Del Projects, India) entered for "mutually beneficial cooperation in the oil and gas industry, participation in oil and gas projects, and increasing the company's presence in the Russian market."
