Russian prosecutor general meets with Venezuelan interior minister in Caracas

CARACAS. April 19 (Interfax) - Russian Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov met with Venezuelan Minister of Interior, Justice and Peace Remigio Ceballos Ichaso in Caracas to discuss the shared approaches toward forming a multipolar world.

"Like our country, Venezuela encounters pressure and restrictions on a daily basis from countries of the collective West that stem, above all, from their powerlessness with regard to states that do not recognize their inflated ambitions and supposed supremacy. I am confident that the commonality of the approaches of Russia and Venezuela to rejecting unlawful sanctions and interference in the countries' internal affairs will help ensure, primarily, the establishment of a just multipolar world order," Krasnov said.

The Ukrainian trail in the March 22 attack on the Crocus City Hall concert venue in Krasnogorsk, outside Moscow, is obvious, and law enforcement agencies are making every effort to identify the organizers of that crime, he said.

"The terrorist attack on the concert hall in the Moscow region, which killed or injured hundreds of civilians, shocking the international community, became the consequence of applying double standards to the fight against crime. Beyond any doubt, we are making every effort to identify all organizers, sponsors and masterminds of this terrorist act and will bring them to justice. They will be punished. But the Ukrainian trail in this terrorist act is already obvious," Krasnov said.
