Almost 177,000 Ukrainian citizens arrive in Belarus since Ukraine crisis beginning
MINSK. April 19 (Interfax) - Almost 177,000 Ukrainian citizens have arrived in Belarus since the beginning of the Ukraine crisis, the Belarusian State Border Committee said on Friday.
"In all, 176,941 Ukrainian citizens have arrived in the Republic of Belarus from the Ukrainian territory since February 24, 2022, including 15,937 across the Ukrainian-Belarusian border, 120,739 via Poland, 35,445 via Lithuania, and 4,820 via Latvia," the committee said.
As many as 30,449 Ukrainian citizens have arrived in Belarus since the beginning of this year, including 22,951 via Poland, 7,195 via Lithuania, 284 via Latvia, and 19 from Ukraine, it said.
