Ozon fintech division to issue digital financial assets totaling 2 bln rubles

MOSCOW. April 17 (Interfax) - Ozon Fintech, the fintech division of Ozon, will issue digital financial assets (DFAs) totaling 2 billion rubles, the online marketplace said.

The DFAs will be available as of April 17 and will be valid for 181 days.

The terms and conditions stipulate a variable interest rate that depends on the key rate of the Central Bank of Russia at +3.25% per annum.

Ozon Capital LLC is the issuer of the DFAs, and it will issue two DFAs at 1 billion rubles per DFA, with no dilution of the assets envisaged, the company said in documents.

The deal includes six coupon periods of 30 calendar days each.

Internet Solutions LLC is the guarantor for the DFA issue.

The DFA HUB platform is the operator of the information system in which the DFAs are issued, and Blockchain Hub LLC, part of the PJSC MTS ecosystem, is the developer.

Ozon said that the company intends to allocate the funds received from the DFA issue to develop Ozon Fintech services and diversify sources of financing for the fintech area.

Ozon Fintech develops financial and payment services for consumers and entrepreneurs based on Ozon Bank and Ozon Credit MCC.
