Moscow adds 235 Australian citizens to stop list - Russian Foreign Ministry

MOSCOW. April 17 (Interfax) - Russia has added 235 Australian citizens to the stop list as a retaliatory measure, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday.

"In retaliation against the politically motivated sanctions imposed by the Australian government on Russian individuals and legal entities," Russia is barring "indefinitely another 235 Australians from among members of municipal assemblies forming the anti-Russian agenda in that country," a statement published on the ministry's website said.

The list of sanctioned Australians has been published on the ministry's website.
