Ukrainian Energy Ministry reports power outage in Kharkov and Krivoi Rog

MOSCOW. April 17 (Interfax) - The Kharkov region and industrial enterprises in the city of Krivoi Rog, Dnepropetrovsk region, faced power cuts, which will also continue on April 17, due to transmission constraints in the system operator's networks over the past day, Ukrainian media outlets said, citing information circulated by the Energy Ministry on social media on Wednesday.

Ukraine received emergency electricity imports from Romania, Poland and Slovakia in peak consumption hours on Tuesday evening, the ministry said. Commercial electricity imports are expected to take place on Wednesday as well. Electricity exports from Ukraine are not planned.
