Ukraine's Nova Post plans to expand business in Czech Republic

MOSCOW. April 16 (Interfax) - Ukraine's Nova Post Group has expanded the network of Nova Post offices in the Czech Republic to three cities, in particular, after two offices were opened in the country's capital Prague and one in Brno, a fourth office was launched in Liberec, Ukrainian media reported on Tuesday, citing the group's press service.

"For the comfort of our clients, we continue to develop our network throughout the Czech Republic. This year, we are planning to open offices in the cities of Plzen, Ostrava and Ceske Budejovice, as well as to increase the number of parcel delivery points to become even closer to the client," the statement quoted CEO of Nova Post in the Czech Republic Andrei Artemenko as saying.

Customers can receive and send documents, parcels and cargo up to 30 kilograms to Ukraine at the new office, which operates from Monday to Saturday, it said. The cost of delivery from Ukraine to the Czech Republic is UAH 500 for documents, as well as UAH 550, UAH 850 and UAH 1,800 for parcels up to two kilograms, ten kilograms and 30 kilograms, respectively.

As reported, Nova Post has already opened 89 offices in Estonia, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Czech Republic, Romania, Germany, Slovakia, Italy, Hungary, and Moldova.

The company launched its first office in the Czech Republic in early June 2023.
