CIS permanent reps to meet in Minsk on April 17

MINSK. April 15 (Interfax) - The Council of Permanent Representatives of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries will gather for its regular meeting in Minsk on April 17, the CIS Executive Committee said on Monday.

"On April 17, 2024, the CIS Executive Committee in Minsk will host another meeting of the CIS Council of Permanent Representatives at the Commonwealth's regulatory and other bodies," it said.

"The permanent representatives will review the outcomes of the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers meeting in Minsk on April 12 and plan steps to implement the documents adopted and agreements reached," it said.

The participants also intend to discuss the development of transport and logistical infrastructure and corridors and review the CIS contractual legal framework.

As reported, the foreign ministers of CIS countries exchanged views on relevant items of the international agenda and interaction within the CIS format.
