Ukrnafta supervisory board member Fafara heads Polish concern Orlen

MOSCOW. April 12 (Interfax) - Independent member of the supervisory board of Ukrnafta Ireneusz Fafara has become head of the Polish oil concern Orlen.

The decision was made by Orlen's supervisory board on April 10, Ukrainian media reported, quoting the company's website.

The head of Ukrnafta, Sergei Koretsky, said on social media that Fafara had notified the company that he was resigning from the supervisory board.

Fafara joined the new supervisory board of Ukrnafta in early March 2024.

Ukrnafta is Ukraine's biggest oil producer operates the national network of filling stations.

The biggest shareholder is Naftogaz with 50% plus one share. Shares owned by private shareholders have been controlled by the state since November 2022.
