Ukraine Energy Support Fund consolidates over 410 mln euros over past 2 years - Ukrainian Energy Ministry

MOSCOW. April 10 (Interfax) - Thirteen partner countries and international organizations contributed over 410 million euros to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund as of April 9, Ukrainian media reported with reference to the Energy Ministry.

"The rest of the amount is announced contributions, which sponsors are going to transfer soon," it said.

The fund has financed urgent needs of Ukrainian energy companies, including the procurement of generators, power transformers, switches, spare parts, equipment, materials, special machinery, fuel, and physical protection of power generating facilities.

Most of the financing has been allocated for meeting urgent needs of energy companies in the Kharkov, Nikolayev, Sumy, Odessa, and some other regions, it said.
