Founder of software developer Balance Platform becomes indirect owner of 10.3% of IJSC HeadHunter

MOSCOW. April 9 (Interfax) - Levan Nazarov, the founder of Balance Platform, a local Russian software developer for the financial sector, has become the indirect owner of 10.33% of IJSC HeadHunter , the new parent company of online recruiter HeadHunter Group , the company said in a disclosure.

Nazarov owns the stake through the companies Equilibrium Capital LLC and Quickstep LLC, which he registered in November 2023.

According to the SPARK-Interfax system, Nazarov is the founder of Balance Platform LLC, a software developer for the financial sector. Nazarov established the LLC in 2017, and the Cyprus-registered Balance-PL Ltd has been its sole owner since December 2018.

Odissey Gavrilov's New Projects LLC has acquired another 7.99% of IJSC HeadHunter. The firm was registered in October last year, and Gavrilov has been its owner since March 14, 2024.

In addition, the Cyprus-registered Ajax Private Limited has become the owner of 12.71% of IJSC HeadHunter.

According to statements by the IJSC, the company now has three more direct co-owners, as well as one indirect one. The distribution of shares and the names of investors are not disclosed.

IJSC HeadHunter was set up last year as part of a process to change the HeadHunter group's corporate structure.

The company conducted an additional share issue, placing 36,793,828 shares in an offer to exchange shares in Cyprus-based HeadHunter Group plc for shares in the IJSC at a ratio of 1:1.

The IJSC received 72.7% of the equity capital in Headhunter Group Plc upon the first stage of re-domiciliation, and 73.2% when excluding the company's treasury shares. Shareholders of HeadHunter Group plc at the end of March approved the company's re-domiciliation to the special administrative region in the Kaliningrad Region.

HeadHunter Group plc said in report in April 2023 that its biggest shareholder with 22.8% was Ivan Tavrin's Kismet Group, while Elbrus Capital had 9.3%.
