Ukrainian govt proposes terminating convention on int'l automobile transportation with respect to Russia

MOSCOW. April 9 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian government proposed at a meeting on Tuesday that the Verkhovna Rada terminate the effect of a convention on international automobile passenger and baggage transportation with respect to Russia, Ukrainian media reported with reference to government envoy to the Rada Taras Melnichuk.

In particular, the government endorsed a bill on terminating the effect of the Convention on International Automobile Passenger and Baggage Transportation in relations between Ukraine and the Russian Federation, which was signed in Kyrgyzstan's Bishkek on October 9, 1997.
