Russian Central Bank expects decline in sustainable inflation rates in March
MOSCOW. April 8 (Interfax) - Steady inflation rates may continue to decline in March, Bank of Russia Chairman Elvira Nabiullina said.
"In December-February, the steady increase in prices fell into the range of 6-7%; by the end of March, apparently, we will see an even lower figure," Nabiullina said at a meeting with the United Russia faction.
The Central Bank, following a meeting of the board of directors on March 22, reported that most sustainable indicators of current price growth are in the range of 6-7% in annual terms.
