Putin orders ensuring stable communications on public roads, especially those included in int'l transport corridors

MOSCOW. April 8 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has tasked the government with ensuring stable communications on public roads, especially those included in international transport corridors.

The first report on measures to ensure a stable communications service on public roads must be submitted to the president by December 1, 2024.

A list of presidential orders issued following a meeting with the heads of road carriers and truck drivers was published on the Kremlin website.

In addition, Putin tasked the Transport Ministry to consider federal ownership of border checkpoint access roads and report on fulfilling this order by December 31, 2024.
