UralChem CFO Bulantsev steps down

MOSCOW. April 5 (Interfax) - Igor Bulantsev is stepping down from his position as director of finance and economics at Russian fertilizer producer UralChem effective April 5.

Bulantsev told Interfax that he plans to focus on developing his own projects. UralChem refrained from commenting on the management change.

Bulantsev joined UralChem in January 2019 and was responsible for corporate finance, the unified service center and information technology at the company.

From 2016 to 2018, Bulantsev served as senior vice president of Sberbank , heading investment banking division Sberbank CIB. He was CEO of Nordea Bank in Russia from 2009 to 2016, and in 2003-2009 he served as deputy CEO of OrgresBank, which was renamed Nordea Bank in 2009. He previously also worked at Guta Bank and Rossiysky Kredit Bank.

UralChem was formed in 2007 with chemical assets controlled by Dmitry Mazepin. The group has plants in Voskresensk, Moscow Region and Kirovo-Chepetsk, Kirov Region, and two divisions in Perm Territory. The group also includes potash giant Uralkali and Togliattiazot , a major ammonia producer.
