Russia's share of agricultural product supplies to Turkey almost 22% in 2023 - Agroexport

MOSCOW. April 3 (Interfax) - Russia retained its position as the main supplier of agricultural products to Turkey in 2023

Turkey purchased more than $24 billion worth of agricultural products abroad last year, Agroexport center said, citing ITC Trade Map data. Almost 22% was supplied from Russia, while 13% came from Ukraine and 9% from Brazil.

Russia is also the leading exporter of wheat ($2.7 billion), corn ($471 million), and peas ($89 million), and a top-3 supplier of vegetable oils ($516 million) to the Turkish market, Agroexport said.
