Ukrainian State Border Guard Service reports resumed blocking of truck traffic at checkpoint on border with Poland

MOSCOW. April 2 (Interfax) - Truck traffic has been blocked again at the Ugrinov-Dolhobyczow checkpoint on the Ukrainian-Polish border on Tuesday, the Ukrainian State Border Guard Service said.

"According to information from Polish border guards, the blocking of truck traffic resumed in front of the Ugrinov-Dolhobyczow checkpoint in the Polish territory at around 9 a.m. today. Thus, traffic impediments are possible in Poland for outbound and inbound vehicles," Ukrainian media quoted the service as saying on a social network on Tuesday.

The blocking of the Ugrinov-Dolhobyczow checkpoint ended on March 28. The Ukrainian State Border Guard Service said, however, that the traffic normalized temporarily and the blocking would resume later.

As of March 24, three checkpoints were blocked on Ukrainian-Polish border. Besides the Ugrinov-Dolhobyczow checkpoint, those were the Rava Russka - Hrebenne and Yagodin-Dorohusk crossings. The service did not provide an update.
