Former National Economy Minister Alibek Kuantyrov appointed General Director of Kazenergy Association

ALMATY. April 1 (Interfax) - Alibek Kuantyrov has been appointed General Director of the Kazenergy Association, representing organizations within the oil, gas, and energy sectors.

Alibek Kuantyrov is succeeding Kenzhebek Ibrashev in the role.

Kuantyrov, aged 40, served as Kazakhstan's National Economy Minister from January 2022 through February 2024.
