U.S. imposes sanctions on Russian company Alis over links with N. Korean entity - Treasury Dept

WASHINGTON. March 28 (Interfax) - The U.S. Department of the Treasury included the Russian company Alis in the North Korea sanctions list on Wednesday, the department said in a press release.

It said that Vladivostok-based company Alis was connected to the North Korean company Chinyong that is under U.S. restrictions.

The department said that South Korea sanctioned Russia's Alis together with the United States.

The United States also sanctioned six North Korean individuals, including two representatives of North Korea's Daesong Bank and Jinmyong Joint Bank, as well as a company from the United Arab Emirates.
