Russia-China cross years of culture to begin in May
MOSCOW. March 27 (Interfax) - Russian-Chinese cross years of culture will begin in May and end in 2026, Russian Special Presidential Representative for International Cultural Cooperation Mikhail Shvydkoi said.
"Hopefully, we will begin the two-year marathon with China in mid-May. There will be two years of very intensive cultural exchanges with China, and [the cross years] will continue until the end of 2025 and the beginning of 2026," Shvydkoi said at a press conference on Wednesday.
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed an order on holding Russian-Chinese cross years of culture in 2024-2025 in January.
