Armenia takes no part in CSTO meetings, while not blocking CSTO decisions - Pashinyan
YEREVAN. March 26 (Interfax) - Armenia is not blocking decisions of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) but is not taking part in CSTO meetings, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said.
"We take no part in CSTO events at the high and summit levels. We are not blocking CSTO decisions, but we do not attend its meetings either," Pashinyan said in an interview with the Greek media outlet Kathimerini.
Armenia is open to mutually advantageous cooperation with all partners, he said.
"Our goal is stability and peace in the region. This is why we are diversifying relations in the field of security," Pashinyan said.
Armenia's security cooperation with partners does not target any third country, he said.
"The enhancement of defense capacities seeks to protect Armenia's sovereignty and territorial integrity," Pashinyan said.
