Moscow open to dialogue with Washington - Peskov
MOSCOW. March 26 (Interfax) - Russia is open to dialogue with the United States, but insists on discussing all problems as an integral whole, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
"Our president has said repeatedly that we're open to dialogue and consider it necessary to discuss all issues as an integral whole. It's wrong to pluck separate issues out of the general context that is currently prevalent in our bilateral relations" with the U.S., Peskov told journalists on Tuesday.
"Therefore, we are open to dialogue and have the political will for that, but we favor a comprehensive discussion of all issues," he said.
Russian Ambassador to the U.S. Anatoly Antonov said earlier that he had agreed on contacts concerning bilateral relations with officials from the U.S. administration next week.
