UkrGasVydobuvannya transfers 3.9 bln hryvni in rent payments for Jan-Feb

MOSCOW. March 26 (Interfax) - Ukrainian gas producer JSC UkrGasVydobuvannya transferred 3.9 billion hryvni in rent payments in January-February 2024, Ukrainian media said, citing the company's press service.

Of this amount, 195.8 million hryvni, or 5%, were paid to regional budgets and the budgets of territories where UkrGasVydobuvannya operates, it said. The rest was transferred to the state budget.

The largest rent payments for January-February were transferred to the local budgets in the Kharkov and Poltava regions - 100.1 million hryvni and 78.8 million hryvni, respectively. A total of 8.5 million hryvni were paid to the budget of the Lvov region, 3.9 million hryvni to the budget of the Dnepropetrovsk region, and 4.4 million hryvni to the budgets of other regions.

As reported, UkrGasVydobuvannya, which is fully owned by Naftogaz of Ukraine, transferred 23.8 billion hryvni in rent payments in 2023, including 1.19 billion hryvni, or 5%, to local and regional budgets.
