Hungary currently receiving 'satisfactory volumes' of gas from Gazprom - foreign minister

SOCHI. March 25 (Interfax) - Hungary is currently receiving the necessary volumes of gas from Gazprom , Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto told reporters on the sidelines of the Atomexpo forum.

"We are currently receiving volumes that satisfy us. It has occurred in the past that we have required additional volumes, and that we have requested them and have received them. If such a need arises, then we will appeal to Gazprom and the Russian government, though there is currently no such need," Szijjarto said.

Szijjarto said that Hungary receives gas through the TurkStream pipeline, and not through the Ukrainian corridor.

"It does not matter to us. Hungary receives gas through TurkStream," Szijjarto said.
