Russian security services investigating Crocus City Hall attack on their own, no contact with Western countries - Peskov
MOSCOW. March 25 (Interfax) - Russian security services are investigating the Crocus City Hall attack on their own, without contacting the West, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
"No, our security services are working on their own, no assistance is currently on the table," Peskov told reporters in response to a question as to whether Western countries have provided any assistance that they pledged in the investigation of the terror attack in Moscow.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has had numerous phone calls with colleagues, Peskov said. "The intention to upgrade and intensify bilateral cooperation in the fight against terrorism was expressed," he said, adding, "There are no contacts with the West for now."
