Ninety-seven people hurt in Crocus City Hall terror attack in hospital - Moscow region minister

MOSCOW. March 25 (Interfax) - Ninety-seven people injured in the terror attack on Crocus City Hall are receiving hospital care, Moscow Region Social Development Minister Lyudmila Bolatayeva told reporters on Monday.

"As of today, we have 97 people in hospitals. These are hospitals of the Moscow region and Moscow, as well as federal centers. With various degrees of severity," Bolatayeva said.

Payment of compensation to the injured has begun, she said.

"As for compensation, the Moscow region has paid 15 victims, and this work is ongoing," Bolatayeva said.

The Moscow Region Health Ministry had 182 names on the list of victims on Sunday evening. Of this number, 101 are in hospital care, 61 are outpatients, and 20 have been discharged.

The terror attack on Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk in the Moscow region was perpetrated in the evening of March 22. The assailants opened fire at audience members and set fire to the hall. According to the latest update, 137 people were killed.

The Russian Investigative Committee is investigating a case into a terror attack.
