Over 166,000 Ukrainians enter Belarus since Feb 24, 2022

MINSK. March 22 (Interfax) - More than 166,000 Ukrainian citizens have entered Belarus since February 24, 2022, with the overwhelming majority (67%) arriving via the Belarusian-Polish border, the Belarusian State Border Committee said on Friday.

"A total of 166,469 Ukrainian citizens have entered the Republic of Belarus from Ukrainian territory since February 24, 2022, [including] 15,932 through the Ukrainian-Belarusian border, 112,197 in transit via Poland, 33,633 via Lithuania, and 4,707 via Latvia," the committee said.

A total of 19,977 Ukrainian citizens have arrived in Belarus since the beginning of 2024, including 14,409 in transit via Poland, 5,383 via Lithuania, 171 via Latvia, and 14 via Ukraine, it said.
