En+ Group could begin constructing 1-GW wind farm in Far East at end of 2025-start of 2026 - CEO

MOSCOW. March 21 (Interfax) - En+ Group could begin constructing a wind farm with capacity of 1 GW in Russia's Far East at the end of 2025, CEO Mikhail Khardikov said at a press conference on the results of 2023.

"We have established a design company. The key parameters are under development. We are discussing technical solutions. We plan to complete all this by the end of 2024. I hope that we begin construction at the end of 2025-beginning of 2026," Khardikov said.

"We expect the project to be implemented as part of the capacity supply agreement (CSA) program for renewable energy sources, and we are waiting for the relative government decisions," the CEO said.
