VK purchases 25% of Tochka for 11.6 bln rubles, while 1C also joins investment consortium

MOSCOW. March 21 (Interfax) - VK acquired a 25% stake in Tochka JSC, which provides a range of services for entrepreneurs, the group said in its 2023 financial statements published on Thursday.

The deal took place in Q4, when VK paid 11.625 billion rubles for the asset, the report says. Based on this amount, Tochka in its entirety was valued at 46.5 billion rubles.

Meanwhile, Tochka published a press release stating that in addition to VK, the 1C company had joined the consortium of investors, which, together with management, now owns 100% of the company's shares.

"None of Tochka's shareholders has a controlling stake. Operational control remains with the top management team," the statement said. The release does not specify the share percentages of the company's shareholders.

Until now, only one member of the consortium (besides the company's top managers) was officially known: Vladimir Potanin's Interros. This consortium acquired 90% of Tochka last July at an auction organized by Trust Bank for 41.5 billion rubles, and announced plans to increase its share to 100%.
