Polish protesters start blocking buses at Medyka-Shegini border checkpoint - Ukrainian State Border Service

MOSCOW. March 20 (Interfax) - Polish protesters began blocking the traffic of buses at the approach to the Medyka-Shegini checkpoint on Wednesday, they are planning to allow one bus per two hours both to enter and leave Ukraine, Ukrainian media reported, citing the Ukrainian State Border Service.

"According to reports from Polish colleagues, the restrictions were imposed on the bus traffic today at around 11:10 a.m. Its organizers are blocking the traffic on the highway in front of the Medyka checkpoint, which is adjacent to the Ukrainian Shegini checkpoint," the statement said.

The protesters "are planning to pass one bus per two hours, both to enter and leave Ukraine," it said. "The timing of blocking the traffic of this category of transport is not yet known. We ask truckers and individuals to take this information into account when planning their trips," the statement said.
