Interros supports proposal to integrate Tinkoff and Rosbank into single banking group - Potanin
MOSCOW. March 20 (Interfax) - Interros has supported the proposal to integrate Tinkoff Bank and Rosbank into a single banking group, Interros owner Vladimir Potanin, the largest shareholder in Rosbank and TCS Holding, which controls Tinkoff, said in a comment posted on Interros' Telegram channel.
Potanin said that, "Establishing a unified entity in terms of the product line, ease-of-use, as well as growth in value and financial stability is fully in the interest of customers, shareholders, and the regulator."
"Integrating the banks would occur based on a fair market valuation, while Tinkoff would be valued at an adequate premium to the market. The remaining transactions as part of the placement would also occur in compliance with market principles," Potanin said.
