MOSCOW. March 18 (Interfax) - Czech railway operator RegioJet will launch a second railroad line to Ukraine via Slovakia to Chop on March 27 in addition to the existing one via Poland's Przemysl, Ukrainian media reported, citing RegioJet's website on Monday.

A trip from Prague to Kiev with the connection in Chop will take about 22 hours. The service will offer options with and without sleeper berths, as well as special sleeping compartments for women and children, it said.

Trains will depart from Chop or Prague in the afternoon, a journey along this route is expected to take about 13 hours. Carriages from Chop will run as part of the Prague-Kosice train, which consists of 18 carriages.

The ticket prices range from 18.9 euros to 67.9 euros including meals.

RegioJet owner Radim Jancura told Ukrainian media that the Chop-Prague train would have three carriages with 140 seats, of which 80 are in sleeping carriages and 60 in seated carriages.

RegioJet will earn revenue from shipping, but will pay Ukrainian Railways a fee for access to infrastructure, Jancura said.
