Putin: Rebuilt Rostov-Donetsk-Mariupol-Berdyansk railroad to reach Sevastopol, will be alternative to Crimean Bridge

MOSCOW. March 18 (Interfax) - The Rostov-Donetsk-Mariupol-Berdyansk railroad line, which will reach Sevastopol in the future and will be an alternative to the Crimean Bridge, has been rebuilt, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

"It was reported to me just this morning that the railroad from Rostov to Donetsk, Mariupol and Berdyansk has been rebuilt. We will continue this work, and the trains will shortly run directly to Sevastopol, and it will be another alternative route instead of the Crimean Bridge," he said at a concert dedicated to the tenth anniversary of Crimea's reunification with Russia on Monday.
