Ukrainian govt proposes denouncing agreement with Minsk on cooperation in prevention of emergency situations
MOSCOW. March 18 (Interfax) - The government of Ukraine has proposed that Verkhovna Rada denounce the agreement signed between the governments of Ukraine and Belarus on cooperation in the prevention of emergency situations.
A relevant decision was made a meeting of the government on March 15, Ukrainian media outlets said, citing the government's representative in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnichuk.
In particular, the bill "On denunciation of the agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the government of the Republic of Belarus on cooperation in the prevention of emergency situations and the mitigation of their consequences" signed in Minsk on June 7, 2000, was endorsed.
