Putin votes online in presidential election

MOSCOW. March 15 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin voted on Friday evening in the presidential election, which is being held on March 15-17.

Putin expressed his choice by filling out a ballot using the online voting system on a computer in his study in the Novo-Ogarevo residence.

Putin began using the online voting format in 2021, when he used the remote electronic voting system in the State Duma elections. He also voted online at municipal elections and the Moscow mayoral election last September.
