Holders of Ukraine's Eurobonds discuss setting up creditors committee to negotiate restructuring

MOSCOW. March 15 (Interfax) - Foreign holders of Ukraine's Eurobonds are in talks to form a creditors committee ahead of a debt restructuring dialogue with the country, Ukrainian media said, quoting a Reuters report that cited four sources with knowledge of the discussions.

Ukraine needs time to secure a restructuring before the two-year moratorium on payments agreed upon with holders of $20 billion in outstanding international bonds lapses in August.

A group of creditors could begin talks ahead of the International Monetary Fund's spring sessions, scheduled to begin April 17 in Washington, two of the sources said.
