Ukrainian PM, EBRD executives discuss economic priorities

MOSCOW. March 14 (Interfax) - Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) executives led by First Vice-President Jurgen Rigterink have discussed economic priorities.

"The EBRD has invested over 3 billion euros in the Ukrainian economy since the beginning of the crisis. Above all, it supported energy security, infrastructure, the food industry, trade, and the private sector. Our economic priorities were discussed. This includes grants supporting small and medium businesses, development of manufacturing and defense industries, humanitarian demining, and green energy," Ukrainian media quoted Shmygal as saying on a social network.

He thanked the bank for the drastic increase in investments in Ukraine and was assured of the EBRD's further support for the Ukrainian economy.
