Azerbaijan, Armenia close to peace - Aliyev
BAKU. March 14 (Interfax) - Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev believes that Azerbaijan and Armenia are now closer to peace than ever before.
"We are now closer to peace with Armenia than ever before. Throughout the history of the South Caucasus's independence, peace has never been so close as it is today," Aliyev said at a plenary session titled 'Fixing the Fractured World' as part of the Global Baku Forum on Thursday.
This is "the result of the second Karabakh war," he said.
