National Bank of Georgia lowers refi rate 75 bps to 8.25%
TBILISI. March 13 (Interfax) - The National Bank of Georgia's Monetary Policy Committee has decided to lower the monetary policy or refinancing rate 75 basis points to 8.25% per annum, the regulator said in a statement.
This is the second rate cut of 2024: the rate was lowered 50 bps to 9% in January.
