EU removes former Yandex CEO Volozh from sanctions list - Official Journal of EU

BRUSSELS. March 13 (Interfax) - The European Union has removed former Yandex CEO Arkady Volozh from its sanctions list, the corresponding document, published on Wednesday in the Official Journal of the EU, said.

Former Vice-President of AFK Sistema Sergei Mndoyants and Slovak businessman and head of the European branch of the Night Wolves motorcycle club Josef Hambalek, were also taken off the list. The reasons for this decision are not addressed in the document.

In addition, nine more persons were removed from the list due to having passed away.

The decision to remove these individuals from the list comes into force the day after its publication in the Official Journal, the document said.
