Central Bank of Armenia lowers refi rate 25 bps to 8.5%
YEREVAN. March 12 (Interfax) - The board of the Central Bank of Armenia decided at a meeting on Tuesday to lower the refinancing rate 25 basis points to 8.5% per annum, the regulator said in a statement.
The rate had been 8.75% since the end of January, when it was lowered from 9.25%.
The rate was lowered on five occasions in 2023.
