Pashinyan: Yerevan to withdraw from CSTO unless its zone of responsibility in Armenia is specified

YEREVAN. March 12 (Interfax) - Armenia will withdraw from the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) unless the latter specifies its zone of responsibility on Armenian territory, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said.

"The question remains [regarding] where, in the opinion of our CSTO colleagues, Armenian sovereign territory is and what its zone of responsibility is in Armenia. The question remains on the table. If the CSTO answers this question, and it corresponds to our idea, this means that every issue is resolved between Armenia and the CSTO with the corresponding consequences," Pashinyan said at a press conference on Tuesday.

"If not, Armenia will withdraw from the CSTO," he said.

"I cannot say when," Pashinyan said.
