No energy blackmail of Moldova by Russia, these are entirely commercial issues - Kremlin

MOSCOW. March 11 (Interfax) - The statements made by Chisinau that Russia is using energy blackmail against Moldova are absolutely unfounded, and this is not the case, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.

"Unfortunately, Ms. [Moldovan President Maia] Sandu very often accuses Russia of energy blackmail, [but] there is no blackmail. These are entirely commercial issues. Therefore, of course we consider such accusations absolutely unfounded and unjustified," Peskov told reporters on Monday when commenting on Sandu's statements that Russia is using energy blackmail to control Moldova.
