Russia to open consulate general in capital of Maldives

MOSCOW. March 11 (Interfax) - Russia will open its consulate general in the city of Male, the capital of the Republic of Maldives.

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has signed a relevant decree on March 7. The document was published on the official legal information website.

"The Consulate General of the Russian Federation shall be opened in the Male city in the Republic of Maldives. The Russian Foreign Ministry shall establish the size of the staff of the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Male within the limits of the staff size of the Russian Foreign Ministry's foreign missions and approve its staff schedule," the decree said.
