Rosatom, IAEA heads holding consultations on Zaporozhye NPP in Sochi

SOCHI. March 6 (Interfax) - International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi is meeting with a Russian delegation led by Rosatom head Alexei Likhachev in Sochi on Wednesday.

"Consultations between Likhachev and Grossi have begun," Rosatom Communications Department told Interfax.

The working consultations focus on providing security and the operation of the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant, the Russian Foreign Ministry said earlier.

Grossi arrived in Sochi on Tuesday.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told Interfax on Monday that the Kremlin did not rule out Grossi meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
