Ukraine withdraws from CIS agreement on cooperation to ensure uniformity of time and frequency measurements

MOSCOW. March 6 (Interfax) - The national government has approved Ukraine's withdrawal from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) agreement on cooperation to ensure the uniformity of time and frequency measurements.

The government made the decision at a meeting on Tuesday, Ukrainian media said, citing Government Representative in Parliament Taras Melnichuk.

The decision envisages Ukraine's withdrawal from the CIS agreement on cooperation to ensure the uniformity of time and frequency measurements, signed in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, on October 9, 1992. It is supposed to update Ukraine's alignment to CIS agreements and regulations consistent with the current state of relations.
