MOSCOW. March 5 (Interfax) - Ukraine has exported 3.7 million tonnes of cargo, including 2.5 million tonnes of grain and oil, via Danube ports since the beginning of this year, Deputy Prime Minister, Restoration Minister Alexander Kubrakov said.

"Danube ports have a growth potential," Ukrainian media quoted Kubrakov as saying on Tuesday.

The Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company offers container delivery to the Danube ports in Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungary, Slovakia, Austria and Germany, and the Romanian port of Constanta, bypassing the Polish border, he said.

Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said on Monday that Ukraine was planning to broaden the export capacity of the Danube cluster from 33 million tonnes in 2023 to 35 million - 40 million tonnes.
