Kazakhstan pledges access to resources and protection for investors - Prime Minister
ASTANA. March 5 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan is pledging access to resources and protection for investors, Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov said.
"The government will provide investors with unrestricted access to resources, infrastructure, advisory support, and assistance with product sales. I guarantee that investors will be shielded from any undue pressure from government and law enforcement agencies. Within the government, you will find a dependable and predictable partner," Bektenov said in an address to investors during a government meeting on Tuesday.
Bektenov said the Investment Headquarters, backed by the head of state, was already addressing these issues. He emphasized the country's commitment to mutually beneficial cooperation with domestic and foreign businesses.
"I want to give assurances that the Kazakh government will assist with every significant investment project focused on establishing modern, high-value production facilities, fostering the rapid advancement of information technology and fostering the creation of innovative enterprises that drive the dynamic progress of our country," he said.
