Ukraine's Zaporozhkoks boosts production output 1.7% in January-February

MOSCOW. March 4 (Interfax) - PJSC Zaporozhkoks, one of Ukraine's largest producers of coke products, boosted the production of blast furnace coke 1.7% year-on-year to 140,800 tonnes in January-February 2024, Ukrainian media reported, citing company data.

Zaporozhkoks produced 69,500 tonnes of coke in February.

As reported, the enterprise ramped up the production of blast furnace coke 16% year-on-year to 856,800 tonnes in 2023.

Zaporozhkoks is part of the Metinvest group, it produces around 10% of the coke output in the country, and it owns the full technical cycle for processing coke chemical products. The company also produces coke oven gas and pitch coke.
