Netherlands, Ukraine sign 10-year security cooperation agreement

BRUSSELS. March 1 (Interfax) - The Netherlands has concluded a bilateral security agreement with Ukraine, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte said on X on Friday.

"For the security of Ukraine and the future security of Europe, the Netherlands today signed a 10-year security agreement with Ukraine," Rutte said.

The Netherlands will provide assistance and support to Ukraine "across the spectrum of defense cooperation, but also in the areas of reconstruction, sanctions and the fight for truth and justice," he said.

Ukraine earlier signed similar agreements with the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Denmark, international media said.
